Furnishing the interior with a variety of different size branches is best. You can use Bio-Vine™ sticks, live plants, dowel rods, etc.. Make sure your live plants are safe to use. You can do a Web search for list of chameleon-safe plants. Some common plants used are Pothos, Ficus, Schlefflera, and Hibiscus. Real plants offer your chameleon a more natural habitat and aid in keeping the humidity levels high. I find it easiest to have a bare floor (no substrate) with the live plants kept in terracotta or plastic pots.
